Boston Red Sox Grooms Cake! 04/2013

My cousin Jay got married this past weekend and I wanted to do something special for him! He loves the Red Sox and so I thought (and then to my surprise his Fiance called me and asked me to do the same thing....great minds think a like!) I would make him a grooms cake....unfortunately his Fiance and I didn't think it was a good idea that I make the wedding cake seeing how I live about 3 hours away and I didn't think the cake would have traveled well in our overly stuffed car but I was so excited to do the Red Sox cake for him!!

The feed back from everyone at the wedding was amazing!! Everyone loved my cake...there was no leftovers of mine (and LOTS of leftover of the regular wedding cake)! This last picture here shows another one of my cousins, who is a big New York Yankees fan loving the cake! haha!! He said "I hate the Red Sox but I love your cake!!" lol!

Jungle Animal Cupcakes! 04/2013

A lady that saw my ad at the Sheriffs office contacted me in regards to making some jungle animal themed cupcakes for her sisters baby shower....the cupcakes were: red velvet, milk chocolate and vanilla with a mixture of vanilla, chocolate and cream cheese frostings...I handmade the toppers out of fondant....those took me a while but I think they turned out pretty cute!

I got feedback from her today that the cupcakes were a hit and everyone enjoyed them...she even handed out my card to a few people and I already got a phone call from the handouts!! Referrals are the best advertisement!!! Thank you!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day! 03/2013

Happy St. Patricks Day at the Veterans Home! My monthly cake for Liz at the Veterans home...even though her meeting was after St. Pattys day she wanted a cake of that theme....the interior cake was tinted green to tie the theme all throughout the cake! :)

Tylers 8th Birthday! 02/2013

My nephew Tyler loves baseball...he's a really great player!! This year he wanted a Tampa Rays cake...this was another cake I rushed so it's not really my best work but he loved it so thats all that matters!!

Minnie for Lila 02/2013

My daughter loves Minnie Mouse so it was only right that I have a Minnie Mouse themed party for her 2nd Birthday! I didn't want a lot of cake leftover so I made a smaller cake and more cupcakes (I personally think cupcakes are the way to go because they are just easier for people to grab!).
